Which problems to fix

In any system, there are often many things which aren’t working right, or as well as they could be. Which ones are worth focusing on, and which ones are real problems?

The key to understanding which problems deserve time and attention, you need to know what the purpose of the system is. From there, you can figure out what things need to be true, or to work, in order for the system to operate effectively. Compare that to what happens, today, and you can get a good idea of what the real problems are. They’re what to change, what to look into, and what to improve.
